AND IN THIS CORNER, WEIGHING IN ON ALL THINGS ADVERTISING: TONY PEZZULLO.
Most kids grow up idolizing stars on TV shows. Tony idolized the people who made the commercials. He would fast-forward through amazing Superbowl plays to get to the spots, sang jingles instead of pop tunes and watched the Clios instead of the Oscars. Since then, Tony has produced award-winning work during tenures at major New York City and Michigan ad agencies, developing brands for startups as well prestigious world-renowned clients including Allstate, American Express, Coca Cola, Ford, GE Healthcare, LensCrafters, Seagrams and The Economist. He created the award-winning print campaign launch for Steve Madden Shoes and directed John Legend’s voiceover performance for Penn Medicine’s TV campaign. His work has been seen all over the street — literally — and on every other imaginable channel from your computer screen to the big screen. He’s been taking on the biggest and baddest for over 25 years. And now, as the other half of TKO, the gloves are off.

DEFENDING HIS TITLE... ACTUALLY MANY TITLES INCLUDING
PRODUCER, DIRECTOR/DP AND CREATIVE EDITOR: KEIR YEE.
Keir began his film career in a bout with a U.S. based BBC crew, coached by its seasoned cinematographer. Fully trained with the knowledge of lighting techniques and proper film exposure, he bought his first 16mm camera and began shooting music videos with every short end he could get his hands on. After a strange and wonderfully domino like series of events, Keir had his first real bout – a commercial job. Albeit a 1.5 second tabletop scene of a speedometer needle, that one scene opened every Pontic spot for years to follow. Keir’s advertising career was officially launched. Earning a reputation as a renaissance man, Keir joined DMB&B in the role of producer where he went on to build what was arguably the first high-end in-house production division. When not shooting or editing, Keir worked with teams to develop creative, produced broadcast and continued to build the production department. Expanding beyond automotive and into food, consumer products and healthcare, Keir lives on to fight another day with TKO.
Ding - ROUND TWO.
